Meet Dave Baron and his wife – A short video from The Golf Channel

Dave and I have been friends for a number of years.  I first met Dave when he was the head teaching professional at Onion Creek Country Club.  I was drawn to Dave for a number of reasons… not only because of his solid teaching (specifically teaching me about distance control with my wedges) but more importantly, his youthful and compassionate outlook on life.

Tonight he sent me this video from the Golf Channel that was done about him and his wife.  I encourage you to watch the video, because the world needs more “DAVE’S”… people that just truly love people.  He and his wife have dedicated their lives to helping children “find their swing” whether it be with a paint brush or a golf club.

If you are by the Harvey Penick First Tee Center, I encourage you to go by and say thanks to Dave for his commitment to the future of junior golf.
