Introducing Kids to the Game of Golf.

Eye-Hand Coordination – Something for the 3 and under

If you’re looking for some fun entertainment that can be enjoyed by all ages (especially those kids under the age of 3), go buy yourself some round balloons.  This little game was introduced to me many years ago when my littlest was a baby… and we still play it all the time in the house.

It is simply, blowing up a balloon and “playing volleyball” with your child.  You can make up all types of games, incorporate using your feet, see how many times you can do without hitting the ground… or one of my favorite things to do… put something into the balloon (like raisins, marshmallows, or nuts) to make the balloon go faster.

From a golf perspective, I believe this game is a great development activity for improving the youngster’s eye-hand coordination.  Not only can you do this indoors, it is safe, and everyone has a lot of fun.

So next time you want to have a little fun in the house… play the “Balloon Game” with your child.
