Introducing Kids to the Game of Golf.

One of those special moments…

Being a parent is a special gift… the “gift that keeps on giving” are those special memories that you store in the memory bank that will make you smile when you’re old and wrinkly. Well for me, I had one of those moments that I wanted to share with my 3 year old Katie.

Katie, as I fondly refer to as my little monkey, is a half pint in size with a fierce competitive spirit. Over the past year and a half, she has been learning to whack balls like her big sister Ally. Last week when we were on the course, it all started clicking together for her… and she actually started clipping the tee.

To watch Katie get excited about getting the ball in the air was truly priceless. From one parent to another, I greatly encourage you to seek these opportunities when you take you child to the golf course. Reclassify your view of success… success is measured in smiles, hugs, and high fives. These are the things you will want to focus on when teaching you child the game.

Enjoy the day… and go create one of those special moments!
