Introducing Kids to the Game of Golf.

My favorite success story is in the smile of “every kid” I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my career. Every kid is unique and special in their own way and each comes to me with different needs.  Most important, to me, is knowing what their goals are and helping them achieve their dreams.

Success to me is not always about winning; it’s about enjoying what you are doing.

Being a former Head Instructor at the Harvey Penick Golf Academy (Golfsmith-Austin), and currently the Head Teaching Professional, since 1999, at Austin Country Club (ACC) where the great Harvey Penick staked his claim to fame, I too, as Harvey quoted, agree that: “The best age to start a child in golf is the time he or she becomes interested in the game”.

I believe that the key ingredient for success is to love what you do. I fell in love with golf, and years later, my love for the game has only grown deeper. Having golf as my passion and career has allowed me the opportunity to watch other young golfers fall in love with the game and achieve success in golf and life.

This is my mission. I am living my dream.
